How does one achieve this balance? The trick is to take a bit more time initially when you compose. Look at this inner space holistically and eliminate those things that are not essential. This little exercise will go a long way in making your images dynamic!

(c) For the big picture, you need to see the smaller one.
There are perhaps more images hidden within a photograph then you realize. Look closely at all aspects of the image that you have shot.

Cropping an image correctly is also an art. In fact, cropping an image after it’s been shot is as important as composing an image before you shoot. Practice this and your message will come across with more clarity.

(d) The magic of film, especially transparency film.
As important as B&W film is, everybody who has used it extensively will agree that it is also very complex. Even for the experienced professional, B&W photography is a bit like trying to gaze into a bottomless pit.
