5. What have you specialized in? What are your main areas of interest?
Frankly speaking, I do not like the connotation of the word ‘specialization.’ It is very restrictive. As a photographer and a filmmaker, I like applying my skills and experience to a variety of subject matter. Basically, I’m a very restless individual. I’m happiest when I’m attempting different things. For example, I’ve just finished working on a book on portraits of contemporary Indian artists. I also enjoy working with still life, interiors, landscapes, lifestyle, public service. I have also participated in solo and group exhibitions, where the subject matter is more fine art, esoteric, and very personal.
